WELCOME TO KEESRICH KEESHONDEN

I purchased my first Keeshond Miska in 1981. Knowing very little about the breed I joined the Keeshond Club of BC a short time later. I became active with the KCBC,  helping with Specialties, Sanction Matches, walks and fun days.

In 1985 I purchased my first show dog Am Can. Ch. Mardeen's Shadow. In  1987 I attended my first Keeshond Club of America Specialty  and fell in love with the Sherwood Keeshonden. In 1989 I purchased my foundation bitch Krysta (Am. Can. Ch. Sherwood Miss Isn't Behaving) and from there Keesrich Keeshonden blossomed.

Over the years I've bred or owned several top winning  Keeshonden. In 1995 I ventured out and purchased a female Shetland Sheepdog from a friend. Out of Bambi's first litter I was fortunate to breed a beautiful group winning male. I've also had the privilege of owning (but never breed) a multiple group winning Pekingese and Pomeranian, but my true love is the Keeshonden.

I'm a member in good standing of the Canadian Kennel Club.  I've served on the executive of the Keeshond Club of B.C., Keeshond Club of  Canada and Mount Cheam Canine Association.  Other club I'm associated with the Keeshond Club of America, Pacific Crest Keeshond Club and the Group Six Specialty Club.

Visitors are always welcome at Keesrich.
